"Competition Enterprise" was born of an idea by Philip Wills to fulfil a desire to revive the 'spirit' of Gliding and bring back the fun to competitive flying (read more about the history of Enterprise).

The Long Mynd Escarpment

Enterprise 2009 at Long Mynd

The thirty-fifth Competition Enterprise will be held at "Long Mynd", home of Midland Gliding Club

The competition will run from 4th to 11th July 2009 plus Sunday 12th - "Fly Home Day"


 

Enterprise 2008 at North Hill

Devon & Somerset Gliding Club hosted the thirty-third competition Enterprise from Saturday 5th July to Saturday 12th July 2008.

All ages and classes of glider are welcome at Enterprise and all levels of competence (as long as you have a Silver C). The tasks are designed to give flexibility and encourage all levels to try harder and learn from really experienced pilots.
